I understand your main intent is just to criticize D4, no matter what the context or conversation - but sure, I'll take the bait.

Yes, a good amount of players. 200-300 concurrent viewers on Twitch for these tournaments (note: this is just one guy hosting them on his new 5-6 week old Twitch channel, with no promotion whatsoever). 32 competitors in each tournament bracket, but signups were 50+ (remaining waitlisted).

4v4 Clan Battles and occasionally big "capture the point" mass pvp events.

It's definitely a decent amount of players.

its gotten to be normalized now. im sure people will keep saying things like "d4 is the worst thing ever." until, of course, the next worst thing ever happens.... ill be honest and admit that im guilty of it too. been saying that the rise of skywalker was the worst thing ever since 2019. tho in that case, i may very well be right hahah
