Hello. I have been having a lot of gas the past couple of days, and I wonder if it's because I ate something really greasy.

Does fatty/greasy/deep-fried food give you gas? I thought it was just high fiber or lactose that gave me gas. I wonder what everybody's experience is.

Thanks.

Really? That's interesting.

It seems that a lot of foods give one gas. Fiber, dairy, and now fat.

Most dairy is high in fat/protein. Fiber is a mixed bag you drink alot of water to move fiber and high protein foods.

In my experience personally, it absolutely can, but it depends on the type of fat.

Deep frier oil, which coats deep fried chicken and fries, tends to make me gassy, bloated, and just feel really bad in general.

On the other hand, grease from burgers does not produce the same effect, and I typically feel pretty good after 2 McDoubles.

Hope this helps :)
