aint nobody getting ddos. its called server load... the first week there are 2000%+ more players on the servers than the rest of the time so they are overloaded aint nobody going to invest in a bunch of extra servers they will use for .01% of the league so we deal with overcrowded servers until the casuals leave in a week

Some people are having poor performance after the july 24 patch.
Other people with the exact same hardware are not having any performance issues.

The people without performance problems are gas lighting GGG into thinking there really is no issue.
Only 5 developers work on PoE 1, Expect the entire league to have poor performance if you're having this problem.

haven't had any problems since building my new computer. i believe poe is heavily dependent on cpus though.

right, which the new patch was supposed to put more on the gpu.. and clearly did not.

I believe loading other players with mtx in town is the culprit. My game loads twice as faster when the town is close to empty.

You could always make sure to logout in overseers tower to enable faster load-ins when jumping on the game, also use it whenever you need to town for anything, its generally the less populated town - thus resulting in faster load times and less lag/delay while in town.
