not sure why
my best time playing poe was invasion league
again not sure why but i loved that league
i can even pinpoint the moment poe started losing that feel to me, was when shaper items were introduced

so poe currently feels soulless to me

did u use to chat/play with more people in-game back then? for me I think chat in POE (even global) is like 70% of the entertainment and carries the shit grind

I hate that I agree with you on something, but invasion league was a straight up different genre compared to what the game is now.

was more like survivor horror arpg where you were guaranteed to die and had to play your stash. Not to mention the hardest mechanic poe has ever had: desync.

and yeah the feeling of it was exactly like a survival horror game, it had that good type of pressure
the party play was insanely good back then too, a party would fill in like 2 minutes and do fellshrine runs (and then get massacred by that jumping black spider invasion boss in 2 seconds )
