1) expect nothing! if you expect nothing, you cant be disappointed!
2) try to disregard the hype. ignore what the devs say and what the shills say (gaming news, streamers; they are in it for the money). look at the studio. is it good? does it have any good games under their belt? if it the team has changed, that doesnt count
3) now you look at the dev team, and go full racist and sexist. i might get suspended for this. i dont give a shit. this is the truth and remember it well: white and asian men make good games. anything else in the dev team and its gonna be shit. 5~10% of any other race/sex is borderline, anything above is sus af. also trans anything implies you are dealing with a brainwashed midwit; midwits lack originality and cant make good games
