i want to try a melee fire druid and a bowa, torn between ice or strafe. You try either yet? Been theory crafting a build and then once I actually build it, find the holes in pvm and have to rebuy some gear. And usually since the builds are off-meta, the old equipment I got is just wasted fg
So i'm trying to outsource my experience disadvantage.
Like I made a holy freeze paladin, that was super strong on paper/maxroll. But in playtest, I had attack rating and sustain problems. Ended up having to cycle through a bunch of combinations (wasted gear) to find what was enough to never pot. Bought a really crazy paladin amulet that I'm not even using @.@ (doom + angelics or grief + highlord, neither setup has space for a rare ammy)
