im not a caulk guy so i wont try to answer. dont want to give wrong advice.

but i know there are plenty of people here who handle caulk all the time.

they know all the different caulk types. like where each kind of caulk is best used.

they know where to put the caulk. how to work the caulk. how to keep the caulk malleable or how to stiffen it. depending on use of course.

the caulk guys are your go to guys. but im on the wrong side of this dilemma so hope you find a good one.

Caulk can be pretty tricky.
Caulked some solar lights onto my fence posts recently.
During this time I found a hornets nest inside of one of the posts, they weren't to happy with me.
