i have no clue about pcs and wanted to buy a budget gaming pc
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8x3,40 GHz, GeForce RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM, 1000 GB SSD, Windows 11, WLAN
is this still good for the latest games? or too bad?
Yeah it's solid, 3060 can do 1440p rather well but it has it's limits

1440P will be a huge upgrade from a 1080P.
If your buying a new rig, you should go for 1440P.
I rather save and spend more money for a lot better experience.
Once you buy now, you won't buy a new rig for few years, and you will be missing out for all those years.
Yeah I think a lot of people building pcs and playing AAA titles are missing out if they're not playing 1440p, I'd work a monitor into the budget vs. over spending on unnecessary components
Even a 1440p 60hz/75hz would be adequate for most users unless your a competitive FPS player
