Good. My barb facetanks butcher and kills it in less than 10 seconds. I do that btw with level 20 weapon with regular 480 dps two-hander

based on what ive seen its propably true, if he would have pimped out gear he would just straight up oneshot butcher prolly, geared barb do like 25k crits...

Barb in d2 is trash until you can get to a2, buy a 2 os flail and 3 os flail, and farm runes for steel and malice. then once you hit NM it's also ass until you can farm up a new weapon.

barb has always been a weapon dependent class that needs end game gear to hit a solid clear speed.

ask blizzard to balance all classes from level 1 upwards is a terrible idea.

Yeah I do have few synergies... But aside from that try out Call of the Ancients with 2 passive points behind it. You would be surprised how the ultimate alone take half the Butcher HP in less than 5 seconds without you even attacking.

Plight of melee has always been a thing in a lot of ARPG's due to the lack of more kiting options from being a ranged attacker.

Only times this doesn't feel like the case is when a magic user is disguised as a close-ranger melee character (a.k.a. his "melee" abilities might as well just up-close spells).


Find the equivalent of Grief in this game, and be GG. It's probably in there somewhere, with more than 1 variation (probably specific combo's of unique items that you can center your build around).

I did a bath over on the beta. He was confusing and clunky. But awsome. And not weak. After I changed my skills a few times and took a deeper look at the skill tree he was much stronger. And paired with his design choices on the armor, he is very “barbarian” flavored. You feel like a true barb. To me.

Barb was actually a lot of fun, probably will main it on release.
