Im trying to upgrade the ram to my acer nitro 5 an515 45 laptop


Specs
Cpu: 5600h
Gpu : 3060
Ram : 3200mhz 8gb ram

I want to upgrade my ram to 20gb total 4 + 16
The 16gb stick im trying to buy doesnt specify the jedec profile.
I dont want to end up buying a ram stick and its running at 2666mhz. I dont have xmp, which is why the jedec profile is important.

Nah. Not even the manufacturer website specify it. You just have to guess. Or in my case i figured out that jedec ram of 3200 has a voltage of 1.2v and cl22. Any ram that has a voltage of 1.35 or cl timings lower than cl22 need to have xmp enabled

CPU-Z will tell you on the SPD tab.

I know this. But that is after purchase which is too late. I needed to know before buying it. Cus in my country returns are funny. So i didnt want to waste money. Hence why it was important to find this out.
