Beat columbia last night to advance into the quarterfinals


Edwin diaz went down with a torn patellar tendon last night while celebrating PR’s victory. Remember when, was it kendrys morales ?from the angels broke his leg celebrating? Reminds me of that


Seeing a lot of negative responses to the injury, asking why he was even playing. I think thats pretty ridiculous, these guys would be in spring training games anyway. Maybe not competing to the lvl they are in this tournament but i dont see any issues with them playing for their respective countries. Even pro sport does this

also that pool of death indeed was a pool of death, peurto rico or dominican republic both were contenders to win it all

feel really bad for diaz, especially with his brother right there

Altuve has a broken thumb now too

That morales injury is crazy to look back on now. So many things fell into place leading up to that injury that made 2011 onwards nothing but failure for the angels. (2010 was failure too but angels lost morales in may)
