how could a brainlet figure out if something was made by AI

Post one up I can probably tell you.
They all have this certain feel and there’s always something off. Hands are always a good tell; they usually render like 8 fingers on one hand.
But if it’s processed into, for example, a sig, then it would be harder to tell because those weird aspects have more than likely been corrected.

if you can't get a 99% on this then your identification system is flawed

"i have a feel" isn't actually useful to answering this question, as you can't just give your feel to someone else either

depends on the user of the ai
if the input is "asian girl with big boobs" then yeah itll be easy to tell (like ichbindaddy said 8 fingers instead of 10, or strands of hair that arent connected to the head)
if they give the ai a very specific command and further improve the image after generation (manually or by telling the ai to) then it will be very hard to tell
sometimes with portraits of real people or anime figures the ai will develop a certain style that is copied off of famous artists or modeled after real people which can be a tell if you know the original the ai copied from
if you have a specific picture in mind, just post it, maybe we can figure it out together

Ai has alot of inconsistencies with it. Most of the time the lighting/shadows dont make sense, dont connect/wierdness/pixelation/blotched areas, abnormalities like lines and such. Post it here most of us will be able to tell
