I checked if anything changed since ~2019-2021. sadly the biggest flaws of this game are still there.
Gear progression without trade = worst rng wheel spin simulator.
I'm currently at lvl 95, and character power is basicly the same since lvl 60 when i crafted double t5 items with random stats like res/hp. thanks to forging potential i can't even add any new piece without swapping half of my gear. there are 7 resists so capping those without resist swap option is painful
but let's talk about minmaxing
my bis idols can roll 35-95 and 28-76 on 2 stats. so far i had 2 of those, both with trash roll
high legendary potential uniques droprate is a joke. after 500 echos i found 0 targetable common uniques with >1 potential and 3 random crappy uniques with 2 potential. good luck farming 3-4 potential uniques for your build.
https://i.imgur.com/CcmKWpT.pngi agree with idols and legendary potential (but actually 1% of builds really want to wear GG legendary items), that's shit
but a character at level 60 and at level 90 differs at least double damage on the weapon base lol
Changing items is difficult if you used affixes on the wrong items from the very beginning (for example, instead of +1 to skills on armor or a helmet cdr, you have some kind of shit, or your crit avoid is not on rings). in this case your whole build breaks if you change the item. Level 95 is taken quite quickly, up to a week of time, so it's hard to say that you've been playing for a very long time. But I understand you. I think this kind of difficulty in the game (which is not difficult if you have a lot of experience in the game) is what hardcore players want lol.
I don’t like something else: if you don’t play on a lich, then in act 7 you are killed with a 50% probability by a goat’s jump and it doesn’t depend on you lol. And the terrible game start of the ranger, the first locations, sometimes its unplayable
