Str is pointless to me even if it equals life I’m not gearing to need points to make up for stuff

When you do bvb you want as much life as you can
If you need 2 sox it's usually for the ias breakpoint so you cannot really go back to arreat without using a token

24str is needed to wear Fortitude if you do bvb or to wear hades/rare sacred armor if you do aow
Those 24str will be a lot of life which is definitely important in pvp
