Our Walmart doesn't lock product behind glass doors.

I think the idea of 24-hour stores is interesting because it could help with late-night needs, like groceries or essentials when public transportation isn't available.

locking their doors at 6:00 PM was largely standard across Europe 20 years ago.

I remember 20 years ago as well when Sunday shopping was barred and unless you were an essential service like a gas station you could not open on Sundays.

Obviously that was originally tied to religion back in time but it was still nice to be honest. Quiet roads.

And while the Lord's Day act was struck down in the 80s federally some Provinces kept it and only in 2006 was it lifted when I lived East.

I remember like in 2012 or something there was an Olympic final that canada was in so they opened the liquor hour laws to bars could open when it was on at 5 am or something lmao

Even here still they make the liquor stores only open 1-8 on Sundays still. Its probably best so people dont get cranked before the week but man sometimes I wanna get up and do yard work and have a beer at like 10 on a Sunday but gotta wait lol
