what type of proof would you like? in your worldview, what is proof and how do you know it's the case?

Theotokos is the bearer of God. Mother of God, it is not a "ridiculous word", having this level of ignorance isn't something to be proud of. you simply prove you actually have zero understanding of Christianity in every post, some pages ago you thought Christ wasn't God in the Christian worldview. it's actually like i'm replying to someone completely clueless and got his education through facebook memes.

where are you getting this age from?

how are you so confused on the typology of Mary? I thought you were some bible expert, this is really basic stuff.

Do you know what sin is? I thought you read the bible more than Christians, all of these questions make me think you have never read it.

I would recommend reading "on the incarnation" since it answers all of your questions, the facebook memes have clearly not done a very good job educating you on the most basic Christian concepts.

And you haven't answered a single question.

Why does your all powerful god needs to pretend to sacrifice himself? Why did he choose to get nailed to a piece of lumber and get whipped in the process? Does getting whipped take away "sin" ? Why does he need a human form at all? Can he not do that without all the torture and impregnating children? This is one twisted god you worship, sounds like every villain ever

what do you mean by "pretend to sacrifice himself"? typology of the bronze serpent[john 3:14, numbers 21:9 but I thought you were some edgy atheist bible expert?]. getting whipped does not take away sin, do you even know what sin is? he assumed humanity to unite humanity to God, that's the entire purpose of the incarnation. why do you care if Christ was tortured, and what children were impregnated??

how are you so insanely ignorant of Christianity while claiming to read the bible so many times? this is honestly so fucking pitiful

It wasn't pretend, it's historical.

Someone had to pay the penalty.... He did it so we don't have to.

Because He loves you... that's the beauty of it, my dude. :)

Romans 6:23 says that the "wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus".

Wages vs a gift. We work and toil in our sin nature and all we earn is death. Someone had to pay the price. God gave Jesus to us to stand in our place for judgement.

Romans 5:8 shows that even though we are not worthy, God loved us enough to send His Son to die in our place. All that death we earned, He took the payment for us. "God demonstrated His love for us, in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

I know, I know, i'm the one who thinks this is all a waste of time... I could be wrong...

Sacrifice involves giving up your life for real. If god is immortal and unkillable he gave up nothing. It was a pretentious show for guillable people.

What did he give up exactly a weekend? What a bunch of hogwash

Also you have no proof of resurrection you only have a small footnote about some religious fanatics being responsible causing trouble and burning Rome and their leader "christus" being punished. A common practice by the Romans to deal with hundreds of wackjobs who started different religions and occult societies during that period.

Christ did die for real, his life was truly given up. Death is not non-existence, even when you (as a random human) die you do not stop existing in the Christian worldview. This is a semantic issue, if you need further clarification let me know. Death, in this sense, is the separation of the soul from the body. In orthodoxy, the soul and the body for humans is meant to be unified, so death is unnatural.

Christ suffered and died, went to hades, trampled down death by death, harrowed hades, rescued the prisoners, united humanity to the Father, the list goes on. Salvation isn't transactional, it is ontological.

I reject the western view of "PSA" as in Christ had to bear the wrath of the Father as our replacement in the sense that the Father turned his will on the Son, this is a demonic heresy. It splits the trinity.

Again more with unproven assertions. No one cares what you believe or what your worldview is. If its not based in reality then you might aswell be reciting children's bed time stories.
This isn't semantics its an entirely different worldview. Where are these so called souls? Where is hades? (LOL at christianity copying from the Greeks hoping no one notices)

I care what jesus did as much as I care what Hercules did. Giving me accomplishments of a made up entity won't impress me in the slightest. Do you care what other gods have done? Prove it or stfu.

Your analogy even using your own worldview doesn't make sense because jesus returned to his body. Thats not dying that just some kind temporary out of body experience excuse. Aka mental gymnastics to try to sell idea that he lost/given up something but not really. If you say to your wife you are giving up/sacrificing jsp to spend more time with your kids. Log off for 3 days then jump back on is that really sacrificing? Pretentious theatrics.

"based on reality" your worldview has literally 0 explanatory power for the most basic questions like "does truth exist" and how we know it is the case. you don't have any ground to stand on lil bro, there is no "neutral worldview" your worldview collapses under the most basic scrutiny

which souls? formulate your question better. sheol is the same as hades, it's a word. you fall for word concept fallacies pretty often, literal IQ gap issue.

yes Christ died and was resurrected, just like humans will be. why do i have to educate you on Christian basics in every post?

why do you assume death = annihilation? this is not the definition Christians are using

i don't care to impress you i'm answering your basic questions because you're the most ignorant person in this thread when it comes to Christian basics

when you say something like this "This isn't semantics its an entirely different worldview. " it shows you literally are incapable of tracking information. it's very odd

"Your analogy even using your own worldview doesn't make sense because jesus returned to his body. " yes dude that is the resurrection, he resurrected after his death. how is this still confusing?

You introduced a concept of "separation of the soul from the body" and seem to be confused when I asked where are these souls that you speak of. (Still haven't answered it)

Next you introduced hades into the conversation so I asked where is this hades? The only hades that I know is from greek mythology which predates christianity. Why are you talking to me about word concept fallacies? Another tangent not to answer my question.

So immortal jesus sacrificed himself to himself for the made up disease (sin) that he made to that he can save people from himself. But he didn't really sacrificy himself because he resurrected himself shortly thereafter, barely an inconvenience.
Using your worldview to explain your worldview is circular. First you need to prove your worldview matches reality saying jesus died and was resurrected and concepts of soul or hades need to be proven first. I don't care how coherent you think it is,

To prove reality you need to demonstrate it physically or tangibly at the very least the things that can be proven physically. If you cannot verify it that way its just a theoretical concept as elusive as a fart in the wind.

Christ did not make sin, we are not being saved from Christ. Christ was resurrected, whether you think it's "barely an inconvenience" is irrelevant.
what is wrong with using my worldview to explain my own worldview? you just assume there is a "neutral" reality, there is no such thing and everything is through the lens of a worldview.

justify induction within your own worldview or how we can "prove things physically"

also prove this statement "To prove reality you need to demonstrate it physically " true physically

sheol isn't a physical location, it is separation from God which is exactly why Christ harrowed it Himself to rescue the prisoners.
