I've seen some crazy crashes in my time, but hitting nasty drifts and still managing to walk away is impressive. Did you end up getting the go-kart repaired or just replacing it?

No, I'm the only reason it runs. It no longer drives, once I can move around better it will be driving again.



I still gotta muster the strength to go take a video of the crash scene, there's very obvious tire marks that perfectly explain what happened. My buddy measured where my drift ended to where the go kart landed and I flew like 12 feet through the air before landing on the left side of the kart and continued rolling down the hill. When all was said and done i was still in the seat and I was right side up. Only missing my glasses and a fair bit beaten up

My buddy crashed the death kart into the 15inch or so tree earlier that day, head on mind ya and bent the steering arms during our hot lap races. Id suspect that's probably why the steering arm snapped in half which debeaded the tire mid drift and sent me flying at about 30mph
