your entire 'brainwashed' theory is a total projection. I was raised to believe peace was on its way and was never taught to fear anyone. Most Israelis grew up hoping for a normal, peaceful future with our neighbors.
Our security mindset isn't something we were taught in a classroom; it’s a direct response to a harsh reality. When you live through constant rocket fire and direct threats from regional proxies, you don't need 'propaganda' to tell you to look out for your safety. It's not hate or brainwashing it's the simple, protective instinct of people who just want to survive in a tough neighborhood.
now imagine living with the same fear but without an iron dome that intercepts the rockets. imagine waking up every week or so to a new building in your neighborhood turned into rubble. you'd hate the people responsible for it to your core, just like most of your people hate every people you share a border with.
on the broader topic it seems gaza is finally safe as the settler movement has turned it's eyes on Gaza. but hey it's totally not about ethnic cleansing or a land grab, just for security, right?
the sad part is people running your nation listen to people who aren't motivated by security, and if you're just a normal secular person who isn't in support of the greater israel project you're just getting brainwashed to support their end goals. soon some "innocent" settler will get hit by a rock and they can start to clear out more land in gaza to be settled. you'll call that security too i'd bet.
