Harden was a shooter before he came to Philly, and he won an assist title. You dont see the problem?
"best year"

Bro...Harden was always one of the best passers in the NBA. You realize that wasn't his first assist title, right? He led the league in assists per game while in Houston too. He played with Embiid during his dominant MVP season along with Maxey, so of course he wasn't gonna be taking as many shots.
And yes, Covington best years in Philly. The stat you posted was from his second stint and last year in the league. Did you forget he played in Philly in his prime? Check his run from 2014-19. RoCo was undrafted, played in the G-League, and the Sixers got him and he ended up being 1st Team All-Defense and a DPOY contender (finished as high as 4th in voting) as a full time starter on a team that eventually was winning 50+ games consistently. One of the best 3&D players in the league for a while while in Philly....
And Drummond was very good as a backup to Embiid for stretches. Dude added a reliable 3pt shot and had some big moments in that playoff run coming back to beat the Celtics down 1-3
These were all terrible examples to call out lol
