I am exceptionally disappointed that you cannot use a book with Witchwild String. It would make perfect sense, shoots magic arrows, needs no ammo. Imagine how strong that would be if you could use Mephisto's book with it :D
I finally got Ubers with Witchwild String. I tried out Buriza-do, Demonmachine, Insight, and WWS. I'd say WWS is the best against Bosses/Heralds/Ubers.
I can't afford HRs, so I usually go with budget items against Ubers.
