Yes, sunder can drop from anywhere now. It shared table with gheeds. I got one early ladder off meph and baal. Best place is andariel. You dont need to kill heralds for them.
Heralds also only drop 2 blue items normally. In the pTR they were super op dropping stuff, and blizz overnerfed them - so now they arent even worth killing - unless you want to feel powerful or want a chance at a sunder charm
Fastest 1-99 involves skipping heralds and clearing screens, so best 1-99 is sorc and fire lock

Unless they change heralds next ladder, depending on what you wanna do these are the best classes

1-99, early mf wealth = blizz sorc into nova
1-99 warlock = get enigma asap and play fire lock or some other op build
if you dont care about fcr frames - javazon, cs is still very op

Think of it like this

Blood boil on warlocks can do 2-4x the DPS of nova in an even larger aoe
Taintlocks don't bother using blood boil most of the time, because its slower than just teleporting around having tainted kill everything instantly, and will cut blood boil DPS since its just not necessary

When a warlock goes all-in with dps, blood boil winds up at 4910 physical / 7610 fire with amp, conv & 65% pierce. So even against a 50% dr fire immune its 14k HP per cast after -resists, while against a 0/0 monster it becomes 25k hp per cast
And that's before defiler, which can make it another 1.56x scaling fore free, so as much as 22k to immunes, 39k to non-immunes
Nova sorcs get around 5400 hp per cast to immunes, 8800 to non-immunes
Taintlocks don't even need to bother with such high blood boil DPS since its just unnecessary for most applications, since you kill mobs and bosses with tainted & bound demon, and mostly care about blood boil vs large packs of low hp immunes. And they can get away with a ~4800 phys with -20% phys pierce and leave fire at min damage and its still doing DPS similar or higher than a nova sorc even when you account for the slower cast speed

Yep
Most 1-99 racing ladder are sorc followed by fire lock tho
Sorc for sure lacks in damage but screen full of static and lots of weak mobs die to 105 fcr nova
Tainted are pretty broken right now and just suck against fire immunes
It’s super over tuned for sure when you can run around naked p8
Right now for early wealth I’m trying to do something on the lock that works in Chaos that’s better than abyss but I haven’t found it
Abyss is so clunky on controller and that’s where I spend my evenings
I can grind out meph on a blizz on switch 2 really fast
