Yes but why would you? Grief + high cb will give much more damage, more damage = more life steal = more survival

Last wish is just bad in every way; maybe if it only had el-lem runes it would have a use before using grief.

You need a good 30str 2pally w other mods tele charge ammy for the few teleports you need getting to mini ubers

Grief is for regular/poor smiters

i use black runeword + dracul , feels like a lw

a5 merc can use 1 or 2 Grief and he'll enjoy Might from your LW

lw is fine for uber use. folks just fixate on the rune cost, which is valid. several mentions on this thread can do the job too. heavens light, astreons, black. doing the job of uber smiting doesnt take much when you are plugging in all the usual correct gear in other slots.

grief of course always nudges into first for what it is. if you want to kill dclone 2.37 seconds faster, go with grief. its the cookie cutter choice for many builds bc it does what it does.

treat yo self to an exile too. its ok to feel pretty.

last wish is meme weapon and trap for new players , to me its the same category as jmod

same goes for barb and every meele, nothing beats grief

any melee question, the answer is grief. Anything else is for flavour and/or hipster tendencies to go against the mainstream.

Again, if you just want to keep investing (not because you need gg gear to easily run end bosses, but because min/maxing is fun):

A5 frenzy
Eth up’d guardian angel + protector stone
Eth Kira + 15@/15max
2x LW

He gets 90@ stacked, cbf, lvl 34 might, he’s basically a tank support able to survive while providing life tap and high CB%.

You put grief on you.
You can swap your grief for one of your merc’s LW just to prebuff fade by standing on a fire patch (no extra inventory space needed).

You get more CB than you need just from guillaume + gtoes/gores + gloves.

Here’s a fun fact on top of the previous fun fact:
You don’t need OW or PMH online.
Offline they regen each frame except the 1 frame they are damaged.
But online, dmg stops their regen for 8 frames.
So continuously smiting prevents all healing.

Costs 1 HR

You can get fade and life tap elsewhere, nn spend 5 high runes on inferior weapon
