You cannot apply right and wrong labels when the outcome isn't guaranteed. Complex human decision-making isn't the same as 2+2 = 4.
Therefore some things we can label with certainty but not everything is black and white.

Good and evil is not a switch its a thermostat. There are degrees or levels of good and bad and it all depends.

If a builder installs a door and it doesn't close is the builder good or evil?

what does guaranteed outcome have to do with anything and why can't we apply good or bad without a guaranteed outcome?
how do we know there are "degrees" of good and bad and what does it depend on?

what is certainly good, what is certainly bad, and how do you know this is the case?

in my worldview if a builder does that it's likely speaking on his skill as a builder and not to his moral character

I didn't ask about builder's skill I asked if he is good or evil based on his actions? Are you suggesting his skills are evil for installing a door that doesn't open?
