i mean yeah if your trying to get the most out of something, less is less. sure you can sacrifice something to specialize but why?

also nn mf on gear use soul dance lol, now that we have a reason to clear areas the soul dance is actually OP and makes gear mf 100%pointless.

because it's not a sacrifice with no tradeoffs. hoz build, which is strictly more damage, is going to sacrifice some fhr. but in terms of actual gameplay, 86 does not really seem to make that much of a difference. even extra health and mana (beyond the usual setup) seem to not make much of a difference...and i did 90-99 with 0 deaths, and pretty much almost no risk of death during the leveling process since hdin is one of the highest quality of life builds there is.

now there could be an argument as to whether the extra damage from hoz is worth the reduced "nimbleness" (run speed) - now that is something i definitely noticed.

also, d2r economy is extremely efficient, and basically if there was a new and better idea to challenge existing conventions, the prices would immediately reconfigure to reflect the new data. this is currently happening right now in the GM melee scene (with the exploration of life leech setups). so either everyone is dumb and you are the only smart one...or...there is some inconclusiveness with these debates.

well for one you shouldnt be using runwalkspeed you should be using enigma (dps, mobility through tele, DR, life, str) anything else is 100% downgrade.

/e and yes i am saying run walk is POINTLESS ON HDIN

I do use enigma...i'm just saying that the additional frw for movement between the edges is a potential quality of life factor. but it also depends on how you play. if you are getting clean telestomps, with 0 straggling enemies (or you don't care to clean lower density mobs), etc.

it is very subtle though...but i noticed it at least.

Odd question. Sadly I am american in a blue state... I have less than 2 hours a day to relax outside of work so I skipped reset this ladder... honestly not sure I'll even be playing at all by next ladder... oh well.

Edit
Ehh not sure where on ladder but im lvl85 if I remember correctly and only been working on it maybe a week. So bout 8 to 12 hours of playing ssf online.

we are in the same state...there is no gaming for me during most weeks, especially during summers. but somehow, i have 2 99's since ROTW, one of which was HCSSF.

just saying...isn't there a possibility, that your feel for the game might be off? when all the top ladder guys have identical builds...you kind of have to ask.

quality of life matters...and asia server knows this (which is why they prioritize mana immensely in their builds, among other things). magic immunes are rare, but they're encountered frequently enough (especially during baal runs) that it's better to not have them slow you down. plus other small things (horazon boots for CBF)

we can rationalize theorycrafted numbers all day...but at the end of the day...it's performance in the game that matters...

Possible but so is panspermia. Doesnt make it true.

Baal runs are subpar these days man can do just as fine running chaos or just about any terror zone

If the sacrifices dont drastically improve kill speed they are simply overcorrections that lose more than you gain.

Also tonight I will be putting together a realistic build that still hits bps. Likely will post tomorrow.
