Keep your head up. Gratz on the family achievements. That’s amazing that you can manage it all! You’re a Diablo Veteran aka Diablo dad now. Time to sit back and enjoy the little things. Life is getting shorter and as an old dog grows more tired. Us humans too, get a little less excited over the little things.

I have Diablo 4 but honestly haven’t put much time into it. Is it similar to D2? Is it still a loot based grinding game?

Well get real life priorities done first! Then once a week play d2r or other games for a good 4-5 hours sessions once or twice a week if you got extra time after chores and bills are done and paid.

Have some good sleep and go back to work and repeat ! B)

used to duel in public duel games mostly

but its just insanely boring when 1 character is impossible to beat

The problem comes when you realize it's not only just d2r, thats not the problem my friend. Most games will start to feel "empty" the more you grow

The memories and the nostalgia will always be there, but nothing will be the same.

Trying new games won't help, you will always feel like "something is missing" or "maybe it's just me". Nothing feels the same anymore

the problem is that there isnt enough ppl playing...8 player lobbies feel too small i might go back to WoW at least its 10v10 or 15v15 , and esp once 2-3ppl go afk you are playing against maybe 4 people...
not sure why we have so low player amount allowed into lobbies with modern infrastructure i posted about this be4
