Yeah I figured, the bad part about excel is you have to isolate the negative values from the positive ones to differentiate incoming vs outgoing. Unfortunately I’m not the best with excel :P

Can you filter that column lowest to high and just delete all one value (-/+) and then get the total of in vs out?
Consolidate it all into one excel sheet and then do that?
edit:
- Save each year as an excel file
- Open each year and Ctrl + a,c,v it to a single sheet
- Sort A-Z in the amount column (Select the column, click data tab at the top and click the A-Z button)
- Copy and paste all of the negative values to a new sheet, and hit (Alt =) to generate the sum of that column.
Repeat this for positive values and that will give you the gold in/out values your looking for.
