no this is exactly how it works, all worldviews are compared at a coherency level and mine is coherent and has explanatory power whiles yours does not. In fact, no other worldview can explain the problems I address, especially not a secular materialistic one. Only the Orthodox Christian worldview has this capability.

your worldview cannot justify the possibility of intelligibility which includes the problem of the one and the many as well as an explanation for universal transcendentals, mine can. you are operating off blind faith and incoherence, I am operating off reason with a justified position.

"We already outruled how your invalid god cannot be used to ground anything" show how this is the case.

you admit your worldview doesn't have grounding and logic doesn't need to be justified, this is called admitting defeat in an argument. If you can just say logic doesn't need to be grounded, you are no different than a muslim saying his faith in allah doesn't need any justification.

show how in your worldview a natural explanation grounds the universal transcendental categories and explain their ontological status, and when you say natural I assume you mean material.

these "brute facts" or "necessary truth" what is their ontological status? what are they, where are they and are they made of? how is your belief here no different than faith in an arbitrary God like the God of Islam?

to say something has a "logical form" is to appeal to metaphysics already, which would mean they are appealing to a specific metaphysical reality.

if I can get you to admit it requires a particular being like God to ground universals I will explain why only the trinitarian God found in Orthodoxy has the capability

if you are saying the laws of logic, math, and other universal categories are all separate "brute facts" that just exist on their own, uncreated and eternally, without a singular unifying source that is personal and relational to us, this is no different than polytheism but it fails to explain the problem of the one and many and also fails the problem of intelligibility

Intelligibility does not logically necessitate the specific attributes of the eastern orthodox god.
Also you are assuming the conclusion you are seeking to prove. Asserting that God is the precondition for intelligibility without first establishing an independent criterion for what "intelligibility" requires. This creates a problem of criterion: one must already know what the necessary conditions for knowledge are before determining if Christianity meets them. By defining "intelligibility" in a way that only their specific theology can satisfy, the argument becomes a tautology rather than a proof.

Another problem is your argument relies on concept of a divine mind but it doesn't uniquely prove Eastern orthodox christianity. If another theistic or even non theistic model can account for universals and diversity of particulars then your claim of only my "version works" collapses. You need to demonstrate why only your specific doctrinal formulation works.

Lastly you haven't validated your.god. Thats like saying my imaginary dad can beat up your dad because he is strongest dad in the universe. I am asking for proof that your dad exists before you go around challenging others.

An explanation that makes sense or justifies itself (internally consistent) doesn't guarantee objective truth. A liar can spin a convincing and perfectly sound alliby doesn't mean thats what actually happened. So if you want to convince me of god you going to prove that god. A philosophical theory/explanation won't be sufficient on its own. While logic ensures that conclusions follow validly from premises, it cannot determine the truth of the premises themselves,

So you were on your way to the supermarket but it wasn't at the supermarket where you saw this hippo. The thing is you chose a hippopotamus as your example but there are no hippopotamuses in New Zealand. That must mean you need to go to the optometrist to get your eyes checked because whatever you saw certainly wasn't a hippo.

Huh who said anything about New Zealand? Wtf? No country was specified. Thats 2 assumptions already

So you going with Option B as your final answer?

Don't play dumb. Here is the thing though. The fact that you claimed you saw a hippopotamus is not a simple wow story. That is something so serious that you should be calling the authorities on.

I would test your claim by telling you to call the authorities to deal with this supposed hippo you saw if you are so sure you saw one. Would you be willing to get the local authorities involved since Hippo's aren't native to New Zealand?

My answer is that I would get you to take some kind of drastic action to see if you would be willing to go all the way with your story. In this case spotting a hippo where it is not supposed to be would require you to get the local authorities involved.

It comes back to how far you would be willing to take a lie. How far would you go? Would you call the local authorities or would you say that you made it up just short of making that phone call?

Again with the assumptions.
This was a simple test to see how you process information and you clearly failed terribly. This is a non interactive claim thats all the information you receive just like the claim from the bible. You cannot call up Peter or Tacitus or Jesus and ask them to give you any additional information like you are attempting here lol.

Curious if you find my story not credible then why do you find much much crazier story believable?
Like why aren't you calling up jesus to tell him that he suffered from severe heatstroke for thinking he resurrected people from the dead and walked on water? When there is no proof of even ONE resurrected a person from Antarctica before. Why aren't you telling christians and other theists to get their heads examined for believing fairytales.
Why don't you administer yourself to a psyche ward for thinking that a sky wizard magically gathered all the animal species on a boat then drowned the entire planet?

Also beliefs do not create facts so no matter how hard you believe something even to the point of dying the beliefs are subjective psychological state they are not objective truths. All you are doing is proving how fanatical you are. Religious fanatics have died by the millions if not billions from just about every religion. Does that validate them true? No ofc not stupid argument.

the ontological status of your brute facts or necessary truths. what are they made of? where are they?
how your appeal to uncreated, eternal, separate brute facts is structurally any different than polytheism?
how a materialist universe resolves the problem of the one and the many?

Do you know what global flood means?

You started talking about intelligibility so I addressed your point which you have no reply for.

I said "Perhaps logic consists of brute facts or a necessary truth that require no further explanation" yet you are demanding further explanation  thats a comprehension issue on your part. How they are made of? Thats like asking how how are thoughts made. We conceptualize them in our head beyond that you need to ask a neuroscientist.

Just like creationists who ask how the universe was created we might not know exactly how it originated other than theories. The creationists then love to tell us how our explanation doesn't make sense or we have no way of knowing. Yet when we ask for proof of their convenient magical explanation they refuse.

Its all good and well that you formulated a worldview that conveniently accounts for al the things you assume need covering yet you cannot validate your god that you think grounds those things.
Until you do every convenient explanation you think you figuired out cannot be true.

crying double standard because I won't let you hide behind brute facts is hilarious. labeling your fundamental assumptions brute facts is literally just admitting that your worldview is built on completely arbitrary, ungrounded blind faith. if you can just declare your assumptions to be ungrounded brute facts that require no explanation, you have zero intellectual right to ever critique any religion's grounding ever again. this is epistemological suicide.

you are confusing the psychological act of thinking with the universal laws of logic, do I need to explain what a universal is to you? do these so called brute facts exist just as thoughts in your head? you keep contradicting yourself within your own replies, it's so hilarious.

do you need to be explained what "the possibility of intelligibility" means?

concepts are just in your mind? so the law of identity doesn't apply universally and it's just something in your mind? does this apply to other universal transcendentals like mathematical identities, truth itself? it's just something in your individual head? this is actually your worldview?
is the universal category of induction grounded inside of your personal mind?

the Triuine God is the only type of being that can ground universals and solve the problem of the one and the many, the argument is the impossibility of the contrary because this malformed worldview you are expressing does zero work grounding universals and it's hilarious every post you make in the worst contradicting attempts.

try chat gpt again, just copy what i say to you into it maybe it'll think for you. very sad.

here give this to chat gpt "so I am arguing with someone who using the transcendental argument for God's existence and my counter is to offer a worldview that has a set of brute facts that are completely unrelated, eternal and not at all unified. Is my system of ad hoc brute facts a good argument? which worldview more coherently grounds universals, and how do I solve the issue of the one and the many or the issue of multiplicity and unity within my own framework? Since my worldview is an ad hoc set of brute facts which I cannot even express the ontological status of, how do they relate to the possibility of intelligibility for the finite human particular minds? I tried to appeal to neuroscientists and thoughts, but I haven't even justified induction within my own worldview yet or explained how these universal brute facts can be relational to a particular human mind yet. how is my appeal to eternal ad hoc brute facts any different than polytheism that appeals to non-personal deities?"
