Lol. Civilian vessels. You funny. You talking about the 2024 oil spill caused by two pootin boats caught in a storm? Early in the morning of 15 December 2024, two Russian Project 1577 Volgoneft oil tankers, Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239, were caught in a storm just south of the Kerch Strait. Volgoneft-212, which was reportedly carrying about 4,900 tonnes of mazut, broke in two and sank, resulting in an oil spill and the death of one crew member. Volgoneft-239 was damaged, causing her to drift for several hours until she ran aground near the Port of Taman, Krasnodar Krai. She, too, began leaking oil

Don't remember what you're talking about. Quote me.

In any case disasters with oil tankers caught in a storm or running aground happen from time to time and have happened all over the world.

Don't know how you think you got a point here but that's typical, lol

Pootin oil ships are legitimate military targets under the laws of war, as they actively transport the fuel and logistics directly supplying Russian occupation forces and the war effort.

Pootin losing badly. Admit it. How did your country do in the world cup?

And of course Said is wrong again

Civilian shipping is generally protected under international law and is not a legitimate target in war. However, a civilian vessel loses this protection and becomes a lawful military target if it is used to effectively contribute to military action, such as transporting troops, directly supporting military operations, or engaging in combat.

Quote
Even if a civilian ship becomes a valid target, the attacking forces must adhere to the principles of proportionality and precaution to minimize harm to crews, passengers, and the marine environment. The established rules regarding naval warfare and merchant ships are detailed in the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) guidelines, specifically the San Remo Manual.

They happen more often when the ships are not meant to be on open ocean. The ships I mention were never meant for open waters, yet pootin moved them there hoping ro prevent targeting. River ships moved by pootin out of ignorance.

Speaking of ignorance, research b4 commenting next time.

Btw- how did your country do in the world cup? Skill waiting for a response.

Forgot to quote me. Quote my post about that oil spill or whatever you were rambling about.

Secondly what are you talking about here. Those ships were built to not be used as ships or something? Wut?

We're talking about civilian shipping. Ships that transport goods to another country using international waters.

Out of complete desperation these ships are now targeted which is another huge escalation. That's what we're talking about.

1) Sitting ducks civilian vessels 2) massive environmental disaster in the Sea of Azov.

And you think this will benefit Ukraine? This is next level escalation so the Russians have no choice than to answer in kind.

Hope this helps.

Small tanker ships like those river transports not specifically designed to operate in ocean waters-

So those were inland / river vessels that you call small vessels and that's what they are. In any case civilian vessels no question about it.

I was talking about tankers that export crude they're by no means small vessels, if you believe they're the same small river vessels you have no idea what you're talking about.

Come back when you're able to play against tiny nations like Belgium.

Don't be mad. You tried.

People with iodine deficiency need constant United24 and NAFO zombification to form their opinions; even a day without a dose of "potuzhnist" can lead to rebellion against the authorities, as recently happened in Lviv :)
