if Gazans built bunkers they'd be bombed into gravel inside of a week. safety for me but not for thee. even the interceptor missiles we stationed around the Gulf got pulled the second shit popped off and shipped over to Israel.
biggest glass cannon on the planet, just lucky enough to be behind Captain America's shield.
Gazans did build bunkers hundreds of miles of them, reinforced with thousands of tons of concrete. They just built them exclusively to protect Hamas terrorists, while leaving Palestinian civilians completely unprotected on the surface. If Hamas cared about protecting their people instead of using them as human shields, every civilian home in Gaza would have a bomb shelter, just like we have in Israel. Instead, they built a subterranean military fortress beneath schools and hospitals.
As for your 'glass cannon' and 'Captain America's shield' analogy, you have it completely backward. The Iron Dome is an indigenous Israeli invention, designed, engineered, and manufactured by Israel to intercept the thousands of unguided rockets fired at our families.
The US partnership is vital, but the strategic defense infrastructure of the Middle East shifted because of shared threats, not favoritism. The interceptors in the Gulf didn't disappear because of luck; they are part of a coordinated regional defense network against Iran’s ballistic missile and drone proliferation the same network that successfully intercepted Iran's direct regional attacks.
