Now then, as I spoke of transactions occurring in the Spirit,

The moment that you receive Jesus Christ by faith as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit who is God Himself and the third person of the Godhead comes to live in your Spirit; this transaction is something you cannot see happen, sometimes nothing happens the very moment His work begins in renewing your spirit, but sometimes something extraordinary happens, for example, you may be baptized on the spot in fire, you may speak in tongues through His supernatural gifting, you may prophesy, you may Hear His Voice in your spirit, many things may take place according to His sovereign Will.

It is important to note that His love for you is so tremendous that God went so far as to forsake Jesus His own Son on the cross, who is everything He loves, so that you could be forgiven by Him and adopted into His everlasting family, identified by Heaven as His child. The Bible actually reveals that He God is already living inside of you right now, at this very moment. But when you receive Jesus by faith, you receive the Holy Spirit of God.

Personally, I have been baptized in fire twice. I have felt the fire of God twice in my lifetime, and sometimes I ask Him for more. This is not something I actually understand through knowledge, at all. What I do understand, is that I have felt fire from the Holy Spirit of God course through my body from head to toe. Twice. In prayer, to God the Father through Jesus Christ. I have heard God speak to me in the spirit. It is not a voice like my own thoughts. It's similar to somebody opening a door, and calling your name, and you just 'hear them' as clear as day. You know it's not yourvoice. The difference is this is happening in the spirit (heart).

I encourage you again today in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ to give God a chance. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for every single one of us. Why not talk to Him?

Today's Word is from Zechariah 7:8-10

It reads,

Zechariah 7:8-10
King James Version
8 And the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah, saying,
9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

The Bible is the Word of God, written by God Himself given to us His children.

When we speak to one another, we communicate using words. Words contain contents, and when the content of those words is unfolded, we receive something from them. Then, those words move from the soul (mind) to the heart (spirit). Then our heart begins to work out the thing received through those words. We understand the speech of one another through our communication, have you considered how this marvel happens? It is absolutely a marvel for me and you to communicate at all, is it not? Yet, if I speak to somebody whose language I have not learned from soul to heart, I cannot understand their speech (unless God, who is Spirit, supernaturally intercedes), I am not able to fully receive the contents of what they are communicating from the heart (spirit) to the soul (mind). For example, I do not understand spanish, but those who speak spanish understand from the heart those things contained in the contents of the words they wish to communicate. When somebody who knows english and spanish begins to unfold the contents of the written word of spanish into english for me to receive an understanding of translation from spanish to english, a transaction begins to occur in the spirit (which I cannot see) that allows me to receive those things contained in the words being unfolded. I can now ponder in my heart (spirit) those things revealed to my soul (mind) through the contents of the Word.

God's Word is a Spiritual Word, the contents of the Word must go from soul (mind) to heart (spirit) and then we commune with Him who is Spirit, that is, God the Holy Spirit through Jesus. It is through the teachings of Jesus that we learn what true love is, what true life is, and those words must go from soul to heart to receive impartation from the Holy Spirit, and as we receive His Heart through faith, He begins to work on the contents and nature of our own hearts.

I should note here for supplemental testimony that when I was baptized in fire twice, it was around those times when God was working two things out of my life.

1. Pornography.

I had an attachment to pornography that I picked up as a child, and was exposed to explicit materials very young. I confessed this as sin, and the conviction of God began to work in me, and today I am more than two years free of the bondage of this sinful attachment.

2.

Drugs.

I had began taking prescription drugs as a child, probably somewhere between the ages of 5 and 7. I was started on ritalin and then adderall and then another twenty or so differing drugs from then onwards. By the time I was 17, I had taken through professional supervision more than twenty different drugs (yes, I counted them). The drugs had destructively impacted my childhood, and I was isolated & hooked. I was drug dependent, and believed that I needed drugs to modulate my behavior and ability to function day-to-day. Through this deceptive belief, I became addicted to amphetamine class drugs, and this addiction lasted for around 15 years. I was not able to function without the drugs. However, when I began praying to Jesus, He baptized me in fire. Shortly after these supernatural experiences, I was able to get off all the drugs. I don't take any drugs today. I still smoke tobacco & vape nictoine, and I'm working it out of my life.

In two years, I went from being enslaved to two destructively sinful attachments, pornography and drug addiction, to being free of those two destructive attachments. I got off of disability, work full time, pay my own rent, and have the liberty to enjoy life through the grace of God without the horrible influence of drugs and porn in my life. This is a miracle. 100%. I am able to enjoy and partake of this heavenly liberty today because of what Jesus did on the cross. I would not have been able to free myself from the pornography or the drugs without His supernatural grace and provision. JESUS set me free. Not brandon. JESUS.

I am sharing explicit details with you as a testimony to the truth.

May God gracefully awaken your spirits to the truth of His everlasting love for you, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Praise God!

No I don't think that's true. Without any legitimate testing or control for other factors you have likely confused Jesus for a natural explanation.

Since you confessed to practically eating drugs I don't think you are capable to diagnose yourself much less understand what it is you are saying. Go and get the help you need instead of relying on magical explanations.

You would deny 100% of testimonies and miracles to this excuse.

Actually, what Jesus says in the Gospels in the truth.

He said specifically, 'Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.' In addition to this, here are these passages that actually touch on the very darkness that was in my own life then:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Ephesians 1:7 in the King James Version (KJV). It states: "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Acts 3:19-26
King James Version
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

It is a blessing from God to be reproved for our ways, which allows Him to guide us along His paths into redemption through the forgiveness of our sins.

In the King James Version (KJV), 1 John 1:9 states:"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

In the King James Version (KJV), Matthew 3:11 reads: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire."

The testimony I gave you is a biblical encounter with Jesus Christ.

He's alive.

What the Bible teaches us is the truth.

Anyways, in my earnest desire to share the truth of Jesus Christ with you and to pray for your salvation, I have left you with my genuine testimony of the Lord's faithfulness in my own life. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance through faith. I pray that we will meet in Heaven at the feet of Jesus Christ when we have passed from the earth. May Jesus Christ give you marvels of supernatural grace through signs, wonders, and miracles, to draw you to Himself in faith. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Eternity is a long time. It doesn't end. I will be praying for you.

God loves you. God sent Jesus to die, specifically for you. If you were the only person on the earth, God would still have sent Jesus to die on the cross for you to save you and preserve you from eternal separation from Him.

God has given me the opportunity to witness to you and share the Gospel with you.

All it takes is faith in who Jesus is to be saved. The process of sanctification follows.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8
King James Version
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

Now I commit this into Jesus' hands to give the increase. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord Jesus,
If I have made any error in sharing the truth of your Gospel, please correct it in spirit and in truth. In Jesus Name, I pray. Lord, You have seen what I have written of You for his sake and for your Glory, please bring correction where necessary according to your sovereign rule. Lord, please show him that you are near. Thank you Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I appreciate you acknowledging the point about the gold. That's exactly how these discussions should work—we both concede points when the evidence supports it.

I also agree with you on one thing: if the Bible repeatedly made demonstrably false claims, that would be a serious problem for the claim that it is inspired by God. Where we differ is that I don't think you've established that conclusion.

I think we've also finally identified the real disagreement.

You said:

"Any magic = fiction."

That's your starting premise.

Mine is different.

I don't begin by classifying every miracle as fiction. I first ask whether God exists. If God exists, then miracles are at least possible. If God does not exist, then they are not.

That's why we reach different conclusions when we examine the resurrection.

You also asked what Christianity has that other religions don't.

I don't judge religions by how many followers they have, how many pages their books contain, or how detailed their stories are. I evaluate each religion individually based on its historical claims, philosophical coherence, textual preservation, and the evidence supporting its central claims.

That's why comparing Christianity to The Lord of the Rings misses the point. Tolkien openly wrote fiction. Christianity presents itself as history and can be investigated as such. Whether it succeeds is a matter of evidence, not genre.

Finally, you said I have "no proof."

I agree that I don't have proof in the mathematical or scientific sense. Neither of us does.

History rarely provides that level of certainty.

What it provides is evidence that people weigh differently.

You've looked at the evidence and concluded Christianity is false.

I've looked at much of the same evidence and concluded Christianity is true.

That's not because one of us has a proof that the other lacks. It's because we assess the evidence differently, beginning from different philosophical assumptions about whether God and miracles are possible.

At least now we've identified where our disagreement actually lies.

Magic is fiction always has been. Even if you start with a neutral premise of "we don't know if magic is real or not" it makes no difference. Because you still have to prove that its real.
Conclusion is reached AFTER it has been proven or not proven.

I've already covered the part about presentation and why it doesn't matter. I can present truth as fiction and fiction as truth. All you are doing is dismissing/accepting it at the surface level, how are you not getting this? If I give you a real $100 bill and tell you its monopoly money does it mean its worthless? All you are proving how guillable you are.

You dont know if Harry Potter is false until you prove its false not because what's written on a cover. Just like you don't know if the bible is true despite what your pastor tells you. You have to consider the possibility the author was mistaken or lying. You have to examine and test that shit under a microscope. Now it could very well be that Harry Potter does in fact end up being fiction as the cover said but you won't know that until rigorous testing and abundant proof is presented.

Not repeating it again I made my point as simple as I can.

Your other statements don't make sense because if you don't have proof then you have no business to talk about it being true. Just like if you don't have tickets to a basketball game the security won't allow you to enter.
Bible makes extraordinary claims. If you made extraordinary claims that you could shoot a basketball from anywhere on court with your eyes closed and that you are a star player due to play in that game and you showed up like a homeless person. What do you think security do?
Lets say you have the most understanding and respectful security guard they are willing to hear you out despite your appearance and outlandish claims. They ask you do you have proof and you say no. I have testimonials from 2000 years ago does that count?

This is what you are bringing to the table.
