acknowledging that God is Spirit.

You've already completely lost the plot.

We aren't just going to presuppose god is the spirit, whatever that means.

I never said I don't have free will. I said I don't believe I have free will.

What I should have said is whether or not I have free will isn't obvious to me and I don't have a strong position/opinion.

in order for the sentence "I don't believe I have free will" to be a meaningful sentence requires free will. you cannot have a strong or weak opinion on whether you have free will without first having free will, and you definitely cannot have knowledge on the matter without it. stop borrowing from the position of free will being true to deny it. this is no different than demanding empirical evidence of something without first justifying empiricism within your own worldview.

demanding intellectual honesty, hoping someone will change your mind, or having the position that we can have knowledge or prove something all necessarily requires free will.

I am not presupposing. I am stating the truth, backed by scriptural evidence:

John 4:24
King James Version
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I am also speaking from experience. I often ask Him for His presence. His presence is able to lift me out of spiritual darkness real quick and bring me back into the scriptural truth of what the Word of God says about me as His child.

in the Bible, it says:
Psalm 16:11
King James Version
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

The reason I suggested that 'whosoever' desires evidence of God, is to actually sit down with God and ask Him to reveal Himself through His Presence. He may even speak to you personally, and guide you to & through scripture. He is Spirit.

Well, if I have free will then it was a meaningful sentance, and if I don't have free will then it's not. But it doesn't change the fact that I don't know if I do or not.

Not knowing whether I have free will or not is not the same as denying that I have free will.

demanding intellectual honesty

I never demanded intellectual honesty. I said the person was intellectually dishonest, that's not the same as demanding intellectual honesty.

Scripture isn't evidence of miracles or god's existence, no matter how much you want to delude yourself into believing it is.

It actually is.

Refusing history is your issue.

I'm not refusing history. I'm rejecting the moronic notion that things written in a book from thousands of years ago in any way can be considered evidence of god, miracles, or the supernatural.

May I ask you,

have you personally read the Bible?

I have not finished reading it, but my reading of the Bible will never end. The reason I ask is this, because if you haven't read it, what is the source of the conclusion in your heart? God is freely offering you salvation and an eternity of everlasting joy with Him, you, and all of your family, so why not explore His love, and maybe consider the evidence at hand, that God is Spirit?

If you ask Him to speak to you from your heart, He will surely, unquestionably, undeniably answer you. God is pleased by faith, and faith moves Him to action.

Placing judgement on something you've never invested time in and given your life too. You haven't actually studied the history of Jesus and where scripture came from.

Post removed again. I'm done here.

I'm interested in scripture as philosophy, but don't think it's evidnece of god or miracles. It's pointless to continue to go back and forth with people who do think scripture is evidence.
