miracles that have occurred in my life and in others..

There is no way for you to know if a thing was a miracle or not. Describing it as such does not make it a miracle.

Everything exists due to a cause and you'll never convince me that cause is anything other than God our creator.

An intellectually honest person would be open to the possibility that they are wrong.

I've never once said there is no god, just that it can't be proved. While I don't believe there is a god, I accept that it's possible there is one.

You can use your free will to remain in a state that you are an accidental occurrence walking with no purpose. I will not view your soul in that way.

I don't believe I have free will. I'm not sure what you mean by accidental occurrence walking with no purpose. I don't know what a soul is--it's a vague term that would be defined differently from person to person.

To say you don't have free will pretty much sums up your stance.

I guess you aren't ever choosing to respond to me or any individual to freely give your input towards a topic of your choice. Yeah, choices totally don't exist...

I guess you are just proof of a pre programmed person who is simply living their life from start to finish as your coding is designed to do. Nothing but a machine with no heart, mind, or soul with approximately 37 trillion cells. You keep believing that.

Removing my post because this is pointless. We aren't going to change each others minds and at this point we both know how the other thinks.

The idea behind changing the mind of an individual would come down to making the decision to change the mind.

You can't contradict yourself. You can't say free will doesn't exist and then say you want to change another's free will decision.

But yes you're right. You will decide what you put your faith in and I will do the same. We each have our own life to live and I'm going to live my life for others.

My saying we won't change each other's minds doesn't mean I had any intention to change anything about you.

If anything I was hoping you'd have something compelling to say that might change my mind.

No contradiction here.

Miracles do exist, have happened, continue to happen, and are evidence of a supernatural occurrence.

You can avoid the truth all you want, but we absolutely have a creator and that creator loves you and wants a relationship with you.

Empty words with nothing to back them up. Care to present proof of these so called "miracles" or "creator" that you speak of?

Yes. He thinks atheists are reinterpreting and explaining away evidence.

What an individual believes has no barring on whether or not it's true. It's not evidence for or against the thing they believe.

Biblical writing is not a form of evidence for anything claimed in the writing. It can historically be considered evidence that people wrote the books at some time, and based on what they wrote in the books we might be able to infer things about the people who wrote the books, but we can't infer whether or not the claims in the books are true solely on the writing itself.

Maybe to you and the guy in the video that's reinterpreting or explaining away evidence, but to me it's just the rejection of claims that aren't provided with proof.

the 'atheists in the video sound like you do

you cannot "hope" (intentionality) someone says something to "change" your mind if you do not have free will. you cannot even have knowledge (justified true belief in the realm of epistemology) without free will. this is incoherent.

there is no "intellectual honesty" if there is no free will, there just is

Since you are asking for evidence, I encourage you to do this one thing:

acknowledging that God is Spirit, and that we cannot see Spirit, but that Spirit is omnipresent, meaning that He God is as close to your chest as your skin is to your ribcage, sit down in a quiet place, with the heartful intent of having an actual encounter with the living God Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit who is present everywhere at all times, and ask God the Father who is in Heaven through the Name of His Son Jesus to allow you to feel the Holy Spirit touch you, and to reveal His love for you personally in Jesus Name.

If you do this, from the heart, you can fully expect God to respond to you, and He will lead you to and through repentance going forward.

Might I add, that the Presence of the living God is so wonderful, His Presence is so sweet, gentle, kind, loving, peaceful, and joyous. He is a marvelous Person.

May you be blessed today in Jesus mighty name, amen.

I never said I don't have free will. I said I don't believe I have free will.

What I should have said is whether or not I have free will isn't obvious to me and I don't have a strong position/opinion.
