mist does 1000 more damage from 3 skills and also clears the entire path it goes with pierce?

I guess you can throw in a BO barb and a convic pally and talk about how OP your health is and ability to pierce your sorc enchanted arrows too..??

x 5 arrows x however many monsters are hit by the explosion. The beauty of this build is that there's a lot of right answers and not many wrong ones. You can trade damage for fcr if you prefer. I personally don't care. The only "wrong" one in my opinion is ignoring exploding arrows.

i guess. exploding arrows are a big nothingburger unless you get a sorc to enchant you, and are attacking non fire immunes
if exploding arrow procced hex bane in an AOE, you might be on to something

Go actually play this character without an enchant with a brand or demon machine. You're saying all of these things, but go give it an actual try. If you still think it's a "nothing burger", then you'll speak from experience. No variant of this build works like the one I posted, in my experience.

I have been playing this build since before you made your original post, and I’m the first poster in your thread’s first page. Unless you are using an enchant sorc to buff exploding arrows, they don’t do shit. I even tested your build out afterwards thinking it might be better, but it’s not (unless you have another account and enchant sorc to enchant you)

I made the post a week ago, I'm sure you have been playing it longer. I didn't invent this character, just trying to spread the gospel like I did for blood boil in the spring. You asked a hypothetical in the post I quoted, which implies that you don't have experience using exploding arrows on this build, which is what led to my comment.

Why are you building for fire resist if you're already prioritizing resists with mist?

True with perfect gear (maras gheeds) and a mist you don’t need gloves to cap any resistance. You can hit 75 fcr bp with magefist and maras and a 15% gheeds

I'm not capping resist, I run very cleanly with ~25, and ran with ~10 for a few weeks. I play SC and rarely take damage so it's just not a priority.
