I think mang is slightly more damage, but the reason why I recommend avoid, even though I don't personally make use of it like this, is because if you use a void, most variations can hit 125 if they swap teleport

I'm using a +4 ondals with a meph book as swap to (pre) buff.

I do have 2 daggers I could make a void in, a +2 Hex:Bane +2 Hex:Purge one and a +3 consume one.

Any idea which would be better or should I just keep using Ondalls?

you say in your guide: Every 10 minutes or so, I refresh the BC/BO, then cast/consume one Defiler, then refresh the hex. -> do you swap to your buff gear everytime or doesn't it matter?

You'll never get the +2 hex: bane one to roll 3 sockets unfortunately, but the consume one is the one I'd use. I think perfect would be +3 consume +3 defiler.

I've been using bowlock since warlock came out and have tested out many different variations to figure out the strongest possible optimizations. I firmly believe this is it (in my video above) and can defend each gear choice if anyone wishes to challenge it. I also have a few videos showcasing the clearspeed of the build, outside of just a quick p8 chaos demonstration in this video.

Interesting! Thank you for sharing.

How about Buriza-do, Faith and Insight bow? I think Insight bow is one of the most budget friendly weapons for bowlock.

Again, they're all fun, but nothing works nearly as well as exploding arrows. A demon machine is likely cheaper early ladder than insight runes are.

Why not use Horazon gloves instead of LoH?

LOH can be kind of ok in certain situations. I just think it's the difference between an extra 3-400 damage to the mobs that are directly hot by the arrows from LOH (if they're demons) and 0 (if they're not), vs the 150-200ish damage to all non immune mobs from horazon's, plus the same amount applied to each mob hit by the explosion. No comparison in my view.

I think Horazon gloves and boots also give an extra 30% ias, no? Thought that would have been pretty helpful.

Still confused why people are using demon crossbow and not colossus crossbow, just due to the damage primarily coming from magic I suppose?

30% IAS isn't needed when using a demon crossbow. Even without any IAS on the bow, I'm pretty sure just hellwarden's gets you where you need to go.

I'm of the firm opinion that if you're going to run a build that uses concentration, that you should use a bow that actually gets more than like 250 damage per arrow from it. Make it work to use a colossus crossbow, and get a demon to buff, and then I can see it making sense to use mist. Even then, give me explosive arrows 110% of the time.

Thank you. I'm not quite sure how exploding arrows provide that much dmg. I assume only +20 FR and -15 FR with consume? As there are FR-immune mobs everywhere, so I prefer to consume Defiler for magic damage.

Oh I go full magic damage too, there's just so much splash damage from the explosions, and self enchants are easy enough to buff it even more. It's not that it's a ton of damage compared to bane, it's that it's more than the physical damage from concentration
