Banking on PG13 and Embiid to be healthy for 20+ playoff games was definitely a dead end with no hope. Cutting it down to only one boat anchor is a massive improvement and I’m shocked that Brad Stevens was the one to get fleeced by Morey. All that said it will be a grind just to get a top 6 seed in the East this year, with no deep draft and flattened lottery odds every team is going for it. Even teams like the Bulls and Wizards won’t be freebies anymore

There’s really only two teams in the East that I can’t make a case for a play-in push, that’s the Nets and the Bucks
