Unfortunately undermining justice is just part of the Western way. Obviously this thread is just some shitpost bait thread but if we're actually talking justice, not only are pardons politically driven but also obviously wealth driven and the wealth driven ones i'd argue likely cause significantly more damage, typically an individual or corporation cheating, damaging, lieing, and impacting tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands, or in the event its sexual exploitation a larger group of individuals as well. When you're wealthy, rules for thee but not for me. Really does not matter at all what side of the political spectrum you sit on these days, its corrupted to its very core.
The amount of pardons we see now that are political or pardon political allies, protect inner-circle associates, donors, etc. seems quite high compared to the non-immediate past. Perhaps that is incorrect though.
We're going into the midterm elections and the democrats put themselves into the unforced error of having the New York Times running articles about how they're protecting illegal alien pedophiles from both prison and deportation.
The Republicans couldn't choose a more advantageous playing field and the guy who democrats ran for vice president just 2 years ago is now choosing to take up the cause of a repeat child rapist
Its not me out there cherry picking the examples, and the administration didn't fall asleep and fail to notice it, they're already turning the cannons on Walz at this moment with press releases, like this;
https://www.dhs.gov/news/2026/07/01/minnesota-madness-governor-tim-walz-pardons-criminal-illegal-alien-convictedThis wasn't driven by wealth or access. It wasn't a favor to a donor. This is pure, unadulterated
policy. It is the formal political position of the top democrats that opposing the enforcement of our immigration laws is such a priority it outweighs offenses like raping children. It is not a consequence of due process or contrivance of evidentiary rules setting some pedophile free on a technicality. This is a purposeful use of the pardon power to absolve a child rapist so that he can't be deported. Because
that's what democrats want. That's why Minnesotans turned up in the streets to obstruct ICE agents, that's why a bunch of white people would try to stop federal officers from arresting an illegal alien in Boston wanted in El Salvador for raping children, like this;
https://www.foxnews.com/us/anti-ice-agitators-blow-cover-boston-allowing-child-rape-suspect-evade-arrest-weeksI don't get to pick what the democrats choose as their policies going into an election year, they chose this. Its not like its some wacko fringe Portland city councilor, this is Tim Walz, their candidate for VP and even possibly wanted to run in 2028 himself.
