I know most people don't post on jsp for this type of help on POE2 but I've just been here so long & this is where I typically come for advice on Diablo when needed.


Trying to see what I need to do to get better on Tier 10+ mapping... very new to POE2 and followed the guides the best I could. My damage output seems good but survivability has dropped off a cliff on any rare maps that I use.

Base blue maps I typically steamroll but the rare ones at 10+ I've not been able to get past the 2 death barrier....


Any help would be appreciated and for any upgrades suggested I have around 200 Divs saved up still.

Getting your resistances maxed out is probably step one. Chaos can be 50+. Passive nodes + high evasion armor+ energy shield helm+ es/evasion boots.

resistance is a thing most players underestimate getting maxed res is very important and add es to youre focus and boots and also dude please change them rings

First time linking a character... I just assumed it would show all my stats... lol


All my resistances are 75%.

FWIW, CoC is probably the worst choice as a first timer. They're fairly expensive to get going effectively and there's a bunch of different mechanics at play all at once.

One thing I will recommend is make sure you go through all of the skill gem levels and make sure they match the guide, and they are in the correct order on your skills page. If you have multiple CoC's going off and they're supposed to go off in a certain order, it might be not working as intended.

Higher energy shield on the focus, helm, and boots will help a ton as well.

Thanks! No idea they needed to be socketed into the CoC gem in a certain order. That might be a big issue in itself. I do have 95% CC on first tab and 100% CC on the cold tab.
