Delaware is central to NYC, Philly, Washington DC, Baltimore, etc (all within an easy 1-2 hour drive), moderate cost of living with great value in property, high quality of life, no sales tax, some of the lowest property tax in the Country. And has some of the nicest beach towns on the East coast where everyone and their grandmother from NY. NJ, and PA come for vacation every summer (I wish they didn't because it's already too crowded). And we have some of the best healthcare of any state in the country. Often ranking #1 in state hospital quality.
It's nice. Get all that and do it while living 25 minutes away from where all the Philly sports teams play. 😎 There's a reason DE is experiencing a population boom.
But don't let someone living in Cali tell us differently where people can't afford to live, homeless are everywhere, taxes are outrageous, and air quality is the worst in America. And you live in shoe boxes for absurd prices. There's a reason people are leaving that absolute shit state 🤣
I’ve been to Delaware once, there is a University there and town is pretty chill and peaceful. Without the sales taxes, maybe when I retire I should relax in Delaware and enjoy a quality life.
