dont use doom unless youre going orb/blizz
use viper as a stopgap
cookie cutter blizz is much better than orb blizz
use glacial spike if you want some additional aoe
nightwings is bad now with uber jewel and sunder increase

never said it was hard, i said i wasnt willing to pay for it. but thanks for your link. the sheet dmg on the fathom variant is interesting, it also provides an additional socket. but im going to try run doom.

np, in this specific set of rules you have for this scenario, i edited my post to give you some tips

playing hc, i do prefer the life and dr from shako over the additionnal +% cold dmg from nightwings. but nw will do more dmg.

Really only +500 dmg on a +15% NW? Anyways, you wear Nightwing so people know you're a cold sorc and look cool obviously

It's not too much when you consider other sources. 85% cold damage increase in what I linked already. As you go higher, it diminishes more. 25% cold increase from sunder and new jewel was a huge buff to cold sorc

anyone got a non-doom and non-fathom version? curious what people come up with.

Full Tals and Facets in everything would be the next best
Otherwise pretty standard cold sorc gear that hasn't changed since forever

hmm, the extra 10% fcr from an opalvein means you could run a blizzard ormus (instead of vmagi) with doom... and still get to 105 fcr.
