ty for this.
this is precisely where it goes wrong.
black and white. no nuances, no objective assessment but tribalism over reason.

I'm a conservative. Married (just once and have been for over a decade) with 3 kids, taxpaying and law-abiding citizen.
I go out to vote when obligated and I do so as I regard it as my duty as a patriot.
I roll my eyes at corruption and pseudo-debates understanding that the political theater is to be taken with a grain of salt.

But as a conservative I trust in the institutions of my country and most countries in the European union.

There are mechanisms in place to hold politicians accountable and professional journalism - especially state-financed, where you are not forced to make money but to inform the public - help with keeping a flawed system somewhat in check.

The alternative? Corrupted strongmen that work for their own pockets and agenda not caring for the little man. We can see how countries like Russia, the US or China are great at this.

As a conservative I believe in Christian values, where you take care of the weak instead of exploiting them. Fair taxation can help achieve those goals – not the everyone fights for themselves cut-throat capitalism you can see at play in the US – in my opinion a leading cause in the deterioration of society and values in America.

As a conservative I trust in science and reason.
You are the ‘progressive’ here. Looking down on established science, news outlets and traditional alliances.

But why? Why not be grateful that mRNA vaccinations can not just protect you from Covid but already approved for many more diseases and soon even cancer.
Why not condemn Russia for its brutal assault with atrocities like Butscha and the ongoing targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.?

Is it because u r miserable and u want every1 else to be miserable too?
It’s quite common rly. So don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s not too late to change!

wtf...

Flick back a few posts and note that I simply post factual information. These facts cannot be denied.

You reply attacking the person who posts which is your usual habit, I see this every single time.

The West (NATO / EU) have been playing geo-political games like they always do. Despite promising not to (talking about NATO expansion) and it backfired. Thats where we are today.

NATO expanded round after round and wanted Georgia and Ukraine next these are the facts.

Ukrainian ultra-nationalists were happy to play ball, all information has been posted numerous times.

Calling me a progressive is the biggest joke I've ever read lmao.

Final bold --> simple shit tactic, attacking the person. To quote yourself (irony is thick) --> "black and white. no nuances, no objective assessment but tribalism over reason."

Condemning black-and-white thinking in the preamble and then producing eight paragraphs of it, closing off with a remote psychiatric diagnosis of a stranger - this self-description does the refutation on its own. The interesting part is the labels you apply. None of what you mentioned is conservative. Trust in the state, faith in state-funded media, redistributive taxation, welfare Christianity, distaste for American capitalism, deference to “established science” and “traditional alliances” — this is a fairly standard European Christian-democrat position. The word “conservative” is doing rhetorical work it hasn’t earned: it attempts to install you as the neutral default and Djunior as the radical. That’s a framing move, not an argument. “State-financed, not forced to make money but to inform the public” is a dead giveaway. Removing the commercial incentive doesn’t remove the incentive. It substitutes appointment boards and licence-fee politics for advertisers. You can prefer that trade — but calling it motive-free is the exact unexamined faith you’re assigning to everyone else here.

Great response if you are looking for an unbalanced and questionable interpretation of djuniors post and my response to it.
I acknowledge you really tried to shift the semantics of the term conservative into a hard right libertarian direction.

I like to preserve. Preserve democracy and not go for your interpretation of 'freedom' and abandoning what I've mentioned above.

So, yes. This is conservatism. Reform UK? That is populism and demagoguism. Restore Britain? That is an even more extreme version of it.
So no pal, just because you like to set the center somewhere in the far right corner doesn't make it conservatism.

And yes, I should have stayed away from labeling djunior miserable.
We all know he is just doing his (kremlin) job ^_^

The US has funded all sorts of campaigns in countries they want to influence through USAID this became painfully clear when Elon Musk's DOGE produced the receipts.

The US are involved in countless regime changes and it's a well known fact. Hurts your feeling? Sucks for you

>out of gas
>another mutiny brewing
>everyone left the country
>Putin has cancer
>Out of missiles/bullets

The dimwits uncritically just recycle the same nonsensical talking points every 12-18 months. When is the fighting with shovels going back into the rotation?

It certainly probably feels that way given the annual earnings of a russian compared to annual earnings of a USA family / household income. Daily expenses have always been significantly lower than the USA obviously, but earnings are also drastically lower so and increase in gasoline prices to even close to what the USA pays would be not great for the average person.

Anecdotally a friend just went back to visit her family and certainly QoL has taken a bit of a plunge. Obviously this is going to happen as war-time drags on, some initial boom I am sure but now its dragging. To say quality of life in general for both side has not gone in the shitter I think would be a lie.

For the average citizen in either country, I suspect no one is #WINNING

Where in Russia do they measure in gallons and not liters?

At least pootin is now admitting to a fuel shortage.

I did the math for you, 'cause I don't trust your math skills. Good thing you didn't ask why it's in dollars
