I watched a buddy of mine get scammed out of 55k FG worth of lock GCs the other night, and I followed the entire accusation process closely. Honestly, I found it incredibly inefficient.

You get a response two hours after posting your initial accusation thread, only to be asked for an absurd amount of screenshots—many of which you may not even be able to provide because, at some point, you quit the game or stopped keeping records due to inactivity.

In the meantime, three other accusations against the same person are reported, yet no preventive measures or any type of action are taken by the moderation team. Maybe a temporary account lock or an FG transaction freeze while the investigation is underway could help prevent further damage.

Disabledpeter had the luxury of unloading all of his FG, and because the process is so cumbersome and inefficient, he’ll probably get away with it.

How can we improve this process from here, Moderating Team?

They've got to do their due diligence, again all these mods volunteer their free time so while these scams are happening they could be inactive, but if you do not want to be scammed then use a med.

Yeah I know they cannot be on top of it at all times, but I mean something can be improved I’m sure.

Maybe or individuals can use the free med available to complete a trade, especially large amount trades.

You are right, there’s a meditator service available.

However, I’m pretty sure most trades go through without the use of a med. Do you use a med for all your trades? surely not. In the event that you don’t, and you get scamed. Wouldnt ya appreciate some quick actions being taken?

I understand there’s a fine line and mods have to do their due dilligence, I get that part. All I’m saying is there must be a way to accelerate and simplify the process

55k trade, barely active account, and one that the person scammed won the “2/3”?

Even without using a med, if the “gm trade rules” were actually followed it wouldn’t have happened.

It sucks sure, but they literally have a med feature.

I would have used it if I didn’t actively have a history with another user.

I've been on and off this site since my join date and a lurker for years. I love the concept of the site, the convenience and joy it brings to users, and the free Solomon level wisdom and diligence of the mods who volunteer their time for the love of the game so to speak. I'll translate their nice words: stop being stupid. Police won't respond for a theft of 5 bucks at the dollar store. If you have 50k fg or are trading for stuff worth that and have no idea how this site works that's on you. You can't buy a toaster, stick your fingers in it instead of a piece of bread and blame someone else when you get burnt. I say this with peace and love.

What I’m saying is, how can we improve the process for the mods to actualy be able to act quicker in the context of scamer accusation.
