I am not deflecting, I am providing context. Here is your direct answer : Putin will control Crimea until the day he dies. After he is dead, Russia will control Crimea, as it is now a part of Crimea. Long response:

Over 3,600 people requested help leaving Crimea afterward, and the coercive atmosphere - with Ukrainian media shut down and intimidation reported - suggests the voter pool was skewed toward those willing to accept Russian rule.

If pootin isnt trying to take over Ukraine, then why did he invade them?

Is it on the same scale as when Ukrainians left their country by the millions at the beginning of the war, or is it smaller? Is there a chance that tourists are leaving Crimea, and what is the percentage of foreigners among them?

Coastal Crimea is a desirable place to live and vacation. Once the war is over there will be no shortage of Russians that live in cold places willing to go there.

Did more Ukraine or Russians leave their country at the start of the war?
