Then sell the item and move on. If you have his fg then return it, you are NOT obligated to hold the item HOWEVER you obligated to return his fg.

Return the FG and move on as stated above. It’s. It uncommon for people to send FG to “reserve” an item. Although it’s not supported by d2jsp staff, it’s not uncommon.

You’ve dragged it out longer than it needs to be. If you don’t want to trade with said user, return his FG and if you’ve already blocked him for whatever reason, move on.

If you do not and the user opens a Scammer Accusation thread, you will be required to return the forum gold. Keeping forum gold that does not belong to you and was sent for an item is considered scamming and that is not up for debate, regardless if it was sent to you in advance before the trade occurred and now you don't want to give the item.
