Atually, this season Normal Devilkin in Tower also dropped me Sur. It was in neighbor room, so I didn't see that. Merc killed one. Just orange flash told me, there is something interresting.
The second Sur dropped from Countess, during tz.
That's rng, that's Diablo 2

tell me more about it

The red portal shimmered open, and without a second thought I stepped into the Secret Cow Level once again. It was just another run—or so I thought.

My Javazon carved through the endless herds with practiced precision. Lightning ripped across the pasture, dropping entire packs in seconds. The familiar chorus of moos echoed through the field as piles of gold, gems, and junk littered the ground. Another flawless clear. Another run where I expected nothing.

Then it happened.

Hidden beneath a fallen Hell Bovine was a single rune label that stopped me in my tracks.

Ber Rune.

For a split second I couldn’t believe it. I stared at the screen, afraid it would somehow disappear. After hundreds of Cow runs, countless Ists, Mals, Ums, and enough mid runes to fill several stash tabs, there it was—the rune I’d spent years hoping would finally drop.

My hands actually started shaking as I clicked it. The familiar sound of a rune being picked up had never been so satisfying.

It wasn’t just another item. It was freedom. The missing piece for Enigma. A milestone every Diablo II player dreams about, earned not through trading or lucking into a giveaway, but from the endless grind of chasing one more run.

The cows kept mooing in the distance, unaware that history had just been made.

I finished the run with a grin I couldn’t wipe off my face, checking my inventory every few seconds just to make sure the Ber was really there. It was.

Years from now I probably won’t remember the thousands of empty Cow runs. But I’ll always remember the one where a single rune label appeared beneath a dead Hell Bovine and turned an ordinary evening into one of my favorite Diablo II memories.
