Hello old friends!

Diablo II has been a game that I have enjoyed til the last minute. This new D2R is pure junk.

The reason for this message is to let you know support will no longer provide any support to Diablo II LoD Legacy. I changed my password a few weeks ago and it has slipped my mind. When attempting to reset the password I get the link but it immediately goes into an “error”’page and “not loading please request a new reset”.

I am seeing if anyone has had this issue before. Blizz support will not and cannot help. The game is considered “as is” per their words. Might be time to hang up the towel on this game and move on, unfortunately. There goes 26 years. I’ve tried so many passwords good god! Lol

I do not play D2R either, and would definetly say im one of the biggest fan that play since windows 95/98 times. My favorite game of all time no doubt
Restarting D2R as a complete new game was in my mind a mistake from battle.net (because old players) do not want to leave back progress/items behind. What everyone wanted is a upgrade/migration to HD/4K graphics without denaturing the game itself. And i dont think there would be any limits on what id spend money wise for this.

Imagine if you could just like classic characters, use an upgrade button and be swiped in the high definitions/4k new servers. With a purchase of the cd-key per example to allow this

I dont know, maybe im dreaming. But thats from day 1 what i think D2R shouldve been. The die hard fans was left behind/forgotten by battle.net (and sadly we are the ones who made this game what it is today)

But to answer your first post, they did remove e-mail/password recovery entirely due to theft claiming accounts.
So now the links are all broken to counter this. This means do not loose access to your account or you are SOL on your own.

^ True. And, yes, troubling to lose access to a loved account.
Yet, as the legacy lifer addict that I am, I always start fresh! Self-found is zee bestest experience.

I wish support would just say this instead of being jerks. I get it though but that’s a shame. Oh well!! Lmao it’s my fault at the end of the day.

I truly get this but it’s heartbreaking lmao I can’t start new. Wayyyyyyy too much lost. .08 items, hybrids, 451scs, crazy helms for my cs on etc. those items will never show up and are expensive. Here’s to new adventures
