It's the best available pair of gloves with these suffix. And that's compared to any t1 res, not just fire.

Hard for me to trust a seemingly random estimate

The current desecrated prefix can be swapped for mana very easily which would make it pretty good for the meta mana stacking builds.
Was that taken into consideration?
