Preventing Criminals from entering your country is not the same thing as preventing Iranians or Somalian's from entering your country. One is a group convicted of a crime, the other is a population from another country. Do you understand the difference ? Canada is restriction certain individuals (convicted of a crime or evidence based) the US is restricting based on nationality. i.e. one is discriminating against Criminals and the other is discriminating against Nationalities.
