Conflict-related societal views should not be mixed with individual criminal abuse cases. They are separate and distinct categories. One concerns Israeli–Palestinian political and societal dynamics, the other concerns alleged actions by specific individuals within Israel against Israelis. As such, they do not support the same kind of cultural conclusions.

Are we seriously supposed to believe that a girl was raped with a living snake (how is that even supposed to work btw?), then forced to drink the snakes blood, followed by the Israeli/Jewish bigwigs drinking the snake's blood themselves?

And again: the glaring parallels to the old blood libel story are hard to overlook.

My point is, you are calling someone antisemitic for referencing and or commenting on a Knesset hearing in 2025 related to a serious allegation/crime. Taken in isolation there is no basis for your claim (i.e. you are inferring that anyone reporting on such events is antisemitic which is simply not true) , whereas if we apply context, it is not difficult to point out that you attack criticism of Israel and defend Israel as if its your constitutional obligation*. Broadly, your argument is not safe, and this applies to the sovereign state of Germany as well.

*I trust you understand why I said that.

The only sources I could find were articles from Israeli media about the Knesset hearing. No AP, no Reuters, no German state media for that matter. Outlets like the Daily Mail then picked it up because it made good headlines. Either way, this say nothing about the outcome of the actual investigation into these claims, nor about the trustworthiness of the witnesses. And considering how outlandish and also illogical some of the claims are (doubtful that you can rape a woman with a live snake...), it seems fair to question these testimonies.

Either way, let's be real: this twitter account @xIsraelExposedx surely didn't repost this headline in good faith because of his heartfelt sympathy with these poor girls... Likewise, gnarjay has built up an extensive track record of rabid Israel hate here in this sub. Both him and @xIsraelExposedx obviously didn't spread this story with good intentions, they spread it because of its eerie similarity to blood libel.
