It's a blatant copy that goes way beyond "looks like other PBBGs". Up until a few days ago he still hadn't finished sanitizing the JavaScript and still had old copied portions related to the Homelab Notifications on Idle Hacking. A bunch of users still have copies of the JS before the change, and it was archived on the wayback machine as well luckily. He still refers to Masterworking in enhancement as Compile in the JS as well. The game trailer on Steam still shows 'Compile' as the final action on enhancing (now Masterwork).
Before it got DMCA'd down initially it had even more blatant copying, like it originally had the same exact 20 stats (3 renamed but functionally the same), and those stats were split over 56 affixes between single/dual affixes. It was the *exact* same 56 possible combinations, even though you have over 200 possible ways to combine 20 stats between single/double affixes. The affixes could only appear on certain slots, and wouldn't you know it, those 56 affix combinations had the exact same mapping to the 8 equipment slots. Those 56 affixes had tags for essence crafting, and wouldn't you know it, his game had the exact same 8 essence tags, mapping to the exact same affixes, WITH THE SAME NAMES. He literally used the DMCA takedown notice and list of copied items as a checklist of things to rename while the game was offline for 10 business days.
No PBBG is fully unique, it's literally impossible within the confines of the genre to come up with an entire design space that nobody else has explored. The difference here is his game is not "inspired by" Idle Hacking. There's the direct evidence that it was copied first and then edited to try to cover the track, and he did a poor job at that.

You should probably also look out when the owner of the game is talking with his best buddy in-game about baiting people on JSP by posting sale/buy threads.
