If you read the first opening Chapters of the Book of Luke, you will learn that his account is based on EYE WITNESSES. The other Gospels were written by the Disciples of Jesus who were certainly there while He walked this Earth.

All that you need to believe in God is The Bible. You do not need The Bible + God appearing to addone. Adding anything is blasphemous as God has provided sufficient evidence so we do not need Him to appear again.

Besides we have already established that the real problem is that you do not believe in the concept of sin. That is the root of the problem. Your excuse that you come up with is merely a symptom.

Do you really want to know what The LORD cares about? I'll give you a hint by highlighting it for you.

Ezekiel 36:16-23 ESV

16 The word of the Lord came to me: 17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity. 18 So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it. 19 I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them. 20 But when they came to the nations, wherever they came, they profaned my holy name, in that people said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they had to go out of his land.’ 21 But I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they came.

22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. 23 And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

Using the same book to confirm itself is not valid proof. It's like saying Superman is real because Lois Lane testified to the fact and saw him in Superman issue #22.

Time to grow up and stop relying on circular arguments. Believing or having faith in something doesn't make it true. The goal here is to verify truth through proof.
Any monkey can suspend reason and just "believe" in something. It takes effort to be able demonstrate/authenticate those claims. Don't be a monkey produce receipts.

how does one become a christian? sometimes its a accident, like this guy
he thought he would read the bible itself and find it false

Josh McDowell, born in 1939, is an American evangelical Christian apologist and evangelist. He initially set out to disprove Christianity during his college years but ultimately converted to Christianity after finding compelling evidence for it. McDowell has authored or co-authored over 150 books, with "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" being one of his most influential works, recognized for its impact on evangelical thought

Based on that logic why should we believe any book whatsoever? How can I trust the Dictionary or a book on Mathematics or those Science books? Is the library full of books, none of which we can trust?

Make it make sense.

I know someone who's escaped a religious christian cult and now no longer influenced by their crazy doctrine. Checkmate

You have no proof just hoping some random guy on the internet has it. Come back when you can articulate what that evidence actually is instead of speculating.

Thats very easy you can verify, cross reference any of those books, test them out and see if they have peer reviews etc. Do they match reality? You shouldn't believe any book on hearsay alone thats what guillable people do.
Yes that includes history and science just because a dictionary has a word doesn't mean its a legitimate word.

If you want examples how to do that I can walk you through the basic steps. Good luck

good thing he wasnt a muslim.

this idea ancient historical documents are not evidence/proof takes 'atheist level of hubris to decide what no one else decides.
and BTW your also still evidence and so is the blade of grass still evidence

what there isnt evidence for is 'atheist being credible. they been lying for over a century. it has been well documented. the biggest evidence is the rest of the 'atheist wont call them out for it. its shocking to see a people in such condition

I didn't ask for definitions I asked for the actual proof. Saying a blade of grass was made by magic wizard is not proof its speculation.
You need to demonstrate how you arrived at the conclusion. Show the receipts not speculation or arguments from ignorance. Another fail.

The reason you keep failing to provide proof is because you don't actually have any. Just too embarrassed to admit you are guillable, defending an indefensible position.

Because you ask for receipts from a time before 105 CE. How can somebody show you a receipt from the time Jesus walked the Earth?

People wrote on clay tablets (used in Mesopotamia for cuneiform), papyrus (made from plant reeds in Egypt), and parchment or vellum (processed animal skins used in Europe and the Mediterranean).
Its not just the writing its the lack of archeological proof and logical and basis in reality thats lacking from the bible.
